Booking and Payments

Booking Process

When you book a sailing experience:

  • A deposit is required to secure your booking
  • Full payment is typically due 30 days before departure
  • We accept major credit cards and bank transfers
  • All prices are quoted in the currency specified
  • Group bookings may have different payment terms

Pricing and Fees

Our pricing structure includes:

  • Base trip price covers sailing, instruction, and basic equipment

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation by Participants

If you need to cancel your booking:

  • More than 60 days: Full refund minus processing fee
  • 30-60 days: 75% refund
  • 14-30 days: 50% refund
  • 7-14 days: 25% refund
  • Less than 7 days: No refund unless trip is cancelled by us

Cancellation by Groovy Sailors

We may cancel trips due to:

  • Severe weather conditions or safety concerns
  • Insufficient bookings (minimum participant requirements)
  • Equipment failure or maintenance issues
  • Government restrictions or regulations
  • In such cases, you will receive a full refund or rebooking option
Safety and Liability

Safety Requirements

For everyone's safety:

  • All participants must follow captain and crew instructions
  • Life jackets must be worn when required
  • Alcohol consumption is regulated and may be prohibited
  • Participants must disclose relevant medical conditions
